Practice areas. Whatever legal problem you have, it’s likely that I can help you. I handle family matters, wills and trusts, contract drafting and advice, land use and property law, civil rights suits, select personal injury and criminal defense cases, and all types of appeals.
My fees. Where possible, I charge a flat fee for my services because I think it’s a simple, fair, and honest way to do business. If your case involves special or very tricky issues, it will cost more than a simpler case, of course. But, when you give me your business, you will get exceptional legal representation and the certainty that comes with knowing what it’s going to cost.
Expertise and experience. I am a knowledgable and compassionate counselor and a tenacious advocate. I am a strong writer, I am at home in the courtroom, and I believe in thorough preparation and investigation. Before studying at the University of Maine School of Law, from which I graduated magna cum laude, I ran my own business for ten years. I have also worked for lawyers, both here in Maine and in rural Texas, for over five years.
Give me a call. Even if you don’t decide to use my services, or if I decide I can’t take your case, I will do my best to put you in touch with someone who can help. Alternatively, some matters only require minimal guidance: check out my Guidance & Ghostwriting page to learn more.
Whatever your needs, I am here to help. Give me a call today to discuss your legal problem or to set up an appointment.
